2011-2012 Anchor Coffee House Schedule
Anchor Coffee House events offer great entertainment from up-and-coming artists, as well as free childcare and the opportunity to purchase gourmet coffees, teas, and desserts. Tickets are available in the church office Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call 274-1534 to purchase will credit card. Tickets are also available at Uptempo Music in Beaverdale before each performance. Season tickets are now available for just $50, a savings of $25 door/$12 adv.
Anchor Coffee House is located in Westminster Hall, at the north end of the church building. Please use the Allison Avenue entrance. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and shows begin at 7:00 p.m.

September 10, 2011 – Carol Montag
Carol is an Iowa gem who is re-emerging as a force in the singer-songwriter world after taking a break to raise her family. Tickets $10 advance/$12 door.
October 15, 2011 – Strangebyrds
This Colorado duo simultaneously plays a double-necked acoustic guitar. Tickets $10 advance/$12 door.
December 3, 2011 – Garrison Doles
From Florida, Garrison is an amazing storyteller in the best Southern tradition. Tickets $10 advance/$12 door.
January 28, 2012 – Teresa Storch
This singer/songwriter’s mesmerizing performances feature funky and soulful folk songs, infused with a hint of jazz. Tickets $10 advance/$12 door.
March 10, 2012 – Craig Carothers
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, this Nashville singer/songwriter has a captivating voice and a wicked sense of humor. Tickets $12 advance/$15 door.
April 21, 2012 – Hot Club of Des Moines
This local jazz group in the tradition of Django Reinhardt features the amazing Kim Fitch on vocals. Tickets $10 advance/$12 door.
