Truckstop Souvenir kicks off the 2010-2011 season!
On September 11, 2010, Anchor Coffee House will welcome the the songwriting duo of Dennis James and Lauryn Shapter. This musical pair draws their inspiration from the rural American landscape and the open road, offering songs of love, redemption, despair, and hope. Truckstop Souvenir is pure and honest music, with a rare intimacy that cuts to the heart of what it means to be human.
Anchor House doors open at 6:30 p.m. at the church’s Allison Avenue entrance, with showtime at 7:00 p.m. Enjoy a family-friendly night out, with great refreshments, free childcare, and plenty of parking!
Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at Westminster Church, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in the church office. Tickets will also available at Uptempo Music in the Beaverdale shopping district beginning in mid-April. Call 274-1534 to purchase tickets by phone with credit card.
