There are many opportunities for you at Westminster Church! Consider joining us for:
CONNECT GROUP
This group for couple, singles and families in their 20s, 30s and 40-ish meet regularly for fellowship at the church and other locations. For more information about upcoming activities, contact Josie Wetzler or Lisa Anderson.
From September through May, a variety of Sunday morning classes are offered for adults.
From September to April, Westminster is a lively place on Wednesdays! The mid-week gathering is an evening of fellowship, music, and learning for both children and adults.
Westminster’s many small groups... from Basketball to Bible Study, Scrapbooking to Divorce Support... all provide opportunities for folks to connect with others, share common interests, and grow in faith.
Our active social justice team works to address many concerns facing our world today.
At Westminster, meeting the needs of the poor, the hungry, and the disadvantaged are a priority. The opportunities to get involved in community and world outreach are many.
MEN’S GROUP
During the program year, the Men’s group meets every Wednesday evening at church for supper, fellowship, study and mission efforts. During the summer, the group gathers on Wednesday mornings for breakfast at a local restaurant. For information about the Men's Group, e-mail Ken.
PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN (PW)
Women of the church meet for Bible study, fellowship and a gourmet lunch each month during the program year. Each fall, PW sponsors the Holiday Treasures Craft Fair with two floors of crafters, free admission, and a delicious reasonably priced lunch... you won't want to miss it!
Join us every other month for great entertainment, specialty coffees and delicious desserts.
Tai Chi classes are offered on Thursday evenings at Westminster. Instructor Ruth Kneile teaches both beginners and those with Tai Chi experience. Discover the health benefits of Tai Chi! For updated class information, contact Jan.
WESTMINSTER LIBRARY
The Westminster Library, located on the lower level of the church, is open when ever the building is open Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Fridays 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (except during the summer, when the building closes at noon on Fridays), and Saturday & Sunday mornings. Use our new catalog system on the library computer to find materials. Come in, read, browse or check out material.
