Westminster Wednesday... Fun for all ages!
From September to April, Westminster is a lively place on Wednesdays! The mid-week gathering is an evening of food, fun, music, and learning for both children and adults. Participants are divided by age for classes, choirs, bell choirs, and other activities. Join us September 8 for the kick-off of Westminster Wednesday. We'll gather from 6:00-6:30 p.m. in Westminster Hall for a light meal of pizza, relishes, PB& J table and beverages (for a small fee), or bring your own take-out or sack lunch. Then come to the Sanctuary for an Orientation meeting for ALL Westminster Wednesday participants. Our regular schedule of classes and choirs begins on September 15.

WESTMINSTER WEDNESDAY GROUPS:
Birth through age 3 – CHILDCARE
Continuous childcare is provided for infants and toddlers.
Pre-K & Kindergarten – CHERUBS
Four- and five-year-olds have fun together, learning simple Bible stories, doing crafts, playing games and singing songs.
Grades 1 & 2 – KIDS OF THE KINGDOM
Kids of the Kingdom learn about the Bible through crafts and games based on familiar Bible Stories. The children also participate in the Kids of the Kingdom Choir, which rehearses on Wednesday nights. In the spring, the youth enjoy a cameo appearance in the youth musical.
Grades 3, 4 & 5 – YOUTH CLUB
Our older elementary school youth explore the Bible through video, drama, games and crafts. Youth Clubbers also enjoy special events, such as bowling, reward night, a carnival, and their “Monster Cookie” sale to raise funds for mission. Participants are invited to participate sing in the Youth Club Choir, with rehearsals during Westminster Wednesday. The Youth Club presents their annual youth musical each spring.
Grades 6 & 7 – THE GROUP
Our sixth and seventh graders learn through active participation in a variety of activities: prayer, Bible study, games, devotions, and service to others. The group enjoys outside activities throughout the year, including a mission trip each summer. Group participants are invited to sing in the choir and ring in handbells.
Grade 8 – CONFIRMATION
Our eighth graders explore their faith and learn how God is at work in their lives, in the church, and in the world. The Confirmands are also invited to sing in choir and ring in a handbell choir.
Grades 9, 10, 11 & 12 – SENIOR HIGHS
The Senior Highs choose a theme each year and explore it through video, Scripture, games, service projects, and more. No two weeks are the same, but each week we try to grow a little closer to each other and to God. New senior high youth are always welcome! During the summer, the youth travel out-of-state on a mission retreat each year. Our Senior Highs are also invited to sing in choir and ring in a handbell choir.
