More Than Animals
Then God said, “Let us make man [humans] in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” (Genesis 1:26)
Life Worth Living
Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future.
(Proverbs 19:20)
The Risk You Cannot Afford Not to Take!
He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap. As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything. In the morning sow your seed, and at evening withhold not your hand, for you do not know which will prosper, this or that, or whether both alike will be good. (Ecclesiastes 11:4-6)
Excavating the Flowing Current
Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually! (1 Chronicles 16:11)
The Gift of Weakness
“If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.” (2 Corinthians 11:30)
Ask, Seek, and Knock
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7-8)
The Artist and the Craftsperson
“Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”
(Revelation 4:11)
The Sin Upon Indigenous People
Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause. (Isaiah 1:17)
Three Times Ain’t Enough
“But you, take courage! Do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded.”
(2 Chronicles 15:7)
A Day Late and a Guitar Short
The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps. (Proverbs 16:9)
Creativity Lives in the Present
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)
We Can Be a Divine Channel
Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. (Psalm 54:4)
Making Room for the Spirit
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
(2 Corinthians 3:17)
Reintroducing “The Artist’s Way”
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)
Responding to Emotional Pain
Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22)
An Unlikely Ambassador: Aimee Semple McPherson
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 5:20)
